Sometimes marriage looks like grand gestures, and sometimes it looks like a man hiding an “I Voted” sticker in my underwear drawer, because that seems to be our love language right now.

I know it’s fiction. I also know I’ve cried harder over fictional heroes than some real ones. I don't love what that says about me, but here we are.
