If you're here, you can probably tell this isn't a typical site for typical advice.

I've spent most of my career helping people with jobs, life direction, or whatever. This is just me doing it under my own name now, without all the extra bullshit.

And 'teenaged middle-aged misfit', I feel, applies to a lot of us out here.

Why UB Exists

Movies, plays, and TV were where I first learned how people act and interact.
It took a school play to realize my childhood was not even close to normal.

Which kind of makes sense, in retrospect, since my generation is basically known for raising ourselves on pop culture.

The writing usually starts with me, but the point is always bigger than me.

The Name

"Unfinished Business" is pretty literal.

There's always something unresolved- something you could deal with, improve (or avoid). Whatever.

I wouldn't call it self-help, but it's not nothing, either.
