About Unfinished Business
Unfinished Business is an independent writer-led publication founded in April 2025. The work focuses on the intersection of real life and pop culture, using film, television, fan culture, and familiar characters as shared reference points for thinking through identity, agency, and personal choices.
The work combines disciplined storytelling with cultural observation, often looking at how fictional worlds and long-running characters serve as a testing ground for real-life choices. Weekly essays draw on firsthand experience while staying outward-focused, using humor to clarify rather than soften the point.
